RAW THYMUS TISSUE IS ADDED TO CLEANSE AND HEAL

It also works as well to build up the immune system. In addition, the thymus has an important and healing affect on an overactive thyroid.

The thymus gland is responsible for the synthesis of hormones which characterize the special immune T-cells. Lymphocytes originate from haemocytoblasts (stem cells) in red bone marrow. Those that enter the thymus mature and develop into activated T-lymphocytes, i.e., able to respond to antigens encountered elsewhere in the body. They then divide into two groups: those that enter the blood, some of which remain in circulation and some lodge in other lymphoid tissue and those that remain in the thymus gland and are the source of future generations of T-lymphocytes.

The maturation of the thymus and other lymphoid tissue is stimulated by thymosin, a hormone secreted by the epithelial cells that form the framework of the thymus gland. Involution of the gland begins in adolescence and, with increasing age the effectiveness of T-lymphocyte response to antigens declines. Supplementation is important as the body ages.

The thymus also excretes a hormone which activates these T-cells and makes them more aggressive in their activity of defending the body from invading organisms. The thymic hormone stimulates the spleen and lymph nodes to produce lymphocotes from their own plasma cells. Drs. Levey, Trainen, and Lloyd, at the National Cancer Institute at Bethesda, showed that a thymic hormone stimulated the spleen and lymph nodes to produce lymphocytes from their own plasma cells. Thus, freeze dried thymus is added to further the immune response.

Vitamin E prevents oxidation of Vitamin A, unsaturated fatty acids and cholesterol. Oxides, epoxides, and peroxides of rancid foods cause cell damage and premature aging. It also prevents oxidation of thiol groups such as methionine and thiamine, protects red blood cells in the blood stream from oxidation, prolongs cell life, promotes healing of all tissues and organs in the body, body fats, and lipids. The Thymus combines with Vitamin E, a fat soluble vitamin, to build antibodies to fight infections.
