FUNGISTATIN (TABS) (90 tb) These products are designed to work together to kill yeast. Capsules focus on the area from the nose to the upper G.I. tract; tablets are designed to kill yeast in the lower G.I. tract. Fungistatin is a nutritional mycostat (antifungal) that can help to control the overgrowth of Candida albicans. It inhibits its ability to form fungal rhizoids that can penetrate the intestinal mucosa spreading toxins and intestinal substances throughout the body. Call for Pricing
Product: FUNGISTATIN (TABS) (90 tb)
FUNGISTATIN TABLETS ARE DESIGNED TO KILL YEAST AND FUNGUS IN THE LOWER G.I. TRACT The yeast set up colonies in the colon, sending rhizoids through the colon wall and releasing toxins into the abdominal cavity. The yeast affects the carbohydrates (sugars) and make gas, which bloats the bowel. When the yeast are under control, the bowel gas will dissipate. FATTY ACIDS Many fatty acids seem to inhibit mold growth. The most effective are unsaturated short chain fatty acids. These appear to block the transport of nutrients into yeast and fungus cells by disrupting the cell membrane. Sorbic acid or its salt, potassium sorbate, is an effective antimycotic agent which demonstrates broad spectrum activity against yeast and fungal molds. It has very little activity against bacteria so it can aid the normalization of gastrointestinal flora by reducing Candida and other fungal overgrowth. The body metabolizes Sorbic acid like other fatty acids and is recognized as safe by the FDA (GRAS) list. Sodium Caprylate is another mycostatic agent. This C-8 fatty acid is also a safe yeast inhibitor. Calcium propionate is a neutralized form of propionic acid (fatty acid), and is well known for its antifungal properties. Propionates inhibit pathogenic fungi and can help in the treatment of candidiasis by preventing the conversion of Candida to it pathogenic fungal form. TANNIC ACID Is another mold inhibitor that has an astringent, healing effect against fungus infestation of the intestines and mucosa membranes. All of these fatty acid fungistatic agents are more effective when ingested with foods with an acidic pH. Recommendations
